KARA’s charity auction ends successfully after six-day bidding war

Recently, the ladies of KARA announced that they would auction off the clothes they wore during their Japanese “Mister” promotions for a charitable fund.

The auction took place on their online mall, ‘Karaya‘, and the furious six-day bidding war between fans has finally wrapped up.

A representative from Karaya expressed, ‘The auction was open for 6 days, and a total of 485 people fiercely bid for the items.‘

The clothes all started at the low price of 500 won (approximately 50 cents); Jiyoung’s outfit ended up being the most-sought after item, as it brought in a total of 1.84 million won (approximately $1840 USD). Goo Hara’s items went up for 1.7 million won (~$1700 USD), while Park Gyuri’s were 1.25 million won (~$1250 USD).

The representative affirmed, ‘All the proceeds from this charity auction will go to people living in disadvantaged areas.‘
