Matsushita Nao will star in a new drama series for Fuji Television in January 2011. It’s not yet known what the drama series is titled, but it comes as no surprise that the actress was able to quickly move on to another project; her popularity has been increasing since her role in NHK’s morning drama series “Gegege no Nyobo“. 
In the new drama, Matsushita will play a role of a female detective who is a very active and hot-blooded person, while her partner is a meticulous and obstinate psychology professor. Matsushita’s character has a secret admirer in the form of a co-worker who is madly in love with her, but cannot confess his feelings.
Actor Fujiki Naohito has been chosen as her partner, and the pining co-worker will be played by Yokoyama Yu (Kanjani8).
This will be Matsushima’s first time starring in a drama from a commercial broadcasting station. Stay tuned to tokyohive for further details!
